Health & Wellness
Essential advice to keep your bulldog happy and healthy. Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks. They will be vaccinated and health checked. After taking your puppy home make sure to stay up to date on vaccines including rabies.
Breeding Standards
Guidelines ensuring quality and ethical breeding practices. If you choose to breed your puppy it is recommended to wait until the second heat. Plan accordingly to make sure you are breeding it with a compatible dog. It is important to check the lineage of the other dog as well as genetics to avoid situations such as merle on merle breeding, line breeding, etc.
Training Tips
Effective methods tailored for bulldog behavior and needs. Puppy training doesn’t have to be hard and the key point is consistency. Bulldogs are food motivated and can easily be trained to sit, stay ,etc. with soft treats. Make sure to be consistent with potty breaks around the clock until the puppy learns the pattern or routine to go potty in the desired location. Socialize your puppy as much as possible the first 6 months. Take your puppy around friends and family as well as dog parks, dog beaches, and dog friendly places such as trips to the pet store.
Puppy Care
Support and advice for raising your new bulldog puppy. Do not take your puppy out in public to walk until he or she is fully vaccinated including boosters. Make sure to feed your puppy premium high quality food to ensure the best nutrition and avoid any issues with allergies. Stay up to date on grooming and nail trimming.
